Pauline Kael Breakout Award:

Kate Hudson – Almost Famous

 

Golden Orange for Outstanding Contribution to Film:

William Packer (producer) and Rob Hardy (director), who created the movie Trois and devised a barnstorming distribution plan circumventing the usual Hollywood obstacles for African-American filmmakers.
