Connie Ogle’s mother swears she began reading books in her crib at the ripe age of 6 months. She’s been working at The Miami Herald since the Palm Beach bureau had a bar in the lobby (let’s just call it the late ‘80s) and has been The Herald’s Book Editor since 2001. She tends to review the movies Rene Rodriguez doesn’t want (i.e. anything starring Katherine Heigl). Her favorite film is The English Patient, and don’t even try to talk her out of it. In between writing book and movie reviews, she reads everything from Entertainment Weekly to Faulkner and loves Martin Amis almost as much as she loves Ralph Fiennes.
